THANK YOU!!!
I want to thank all of you for making the class reunion a
success. I appreciate all of the accolades that I received but I feel
that I was only one part of the whole effort. So many people gave of themselves.
Whether it was monetary, time, support etc. We couldn't
have pulled off such a great weekend without Kathy O'Brien Klepher and Jane Hull Lucchino
welcoming everyone at the door and Kathy getting us all gathered together to start
the evening. Teresa Fitzgerald made the beautiful flower arrangements
for all of the tables and led us in prayer. Gerry Hudac toasted the
class of 1978 to past and future memories. All of the people who
donated champagne for our toast!! Dan Lang ran the Chinese Auction
and made us $400+ for startup costs for the next reunion. Karen
Zupancic Zottola, Dan Lang and Dee Dee Krahe donated wonderful prizes for the
auction. John Koenig donated the class picture and questionaire.
And that was only the first day! Our picnic was a success because Dan
Lang, John Koenig and John Marshall all spent time organizing the
music, games, and food. A fun time was had by all who attented!!
In addition, I can't forget Kathy Shroeder Perkins and Olivia Nudi Bizub who tracked down
classmates via the web and who continue to come up with great ideas
to stay connected through our Yahoo Group.
Thank you everyone! I am so pleased that we have such a generous,
gracious and gifted class.

Pete Iole attended the Sunday picnic. It was great to see him and hear about his life experiences since we left the junior high. Pete wrote a book that is going to be published in November 2008.
